Looking for an affordable staycation for the Western Slope or a place to cool off and recreate during those hot summer days? We got you covered with our ready to go SUP, duckie (inflatable duckie) and tube rentals. We have boards of all different shapes and sizes. GJ Adventures is here to make your trip easy.
This option does not include shuttle. Usually, guest that have their own shuttle will use this option. Guest can take the equipment to other locations but must return it back within the time they rented it for. Rental equipment can be used on the Grand Parks & Rec Lazy River which only runs from Memorial Day through the 1st or 2nd week of July. It is a 1/2 mile stretch where you can put it from the shop, float down to a wave feature and then walk back up a dirt path to do it all over again. Guest can also use equipment on the Butterfly Pond, a man-made feature owned by Grand Junction Parks & Rec. It is filled with city water & run-off. It has two aeration fountains and is tested on a regular basis by the city of Grand Junction. This is a free feature for the public to bring their own equipment and paddle on. No swimming is allowed at this pond
*Reservations available up to 24 hours before booking date. Day of rentals are first come first serve.

Have a local guide take you on a beautiful section of the Colorado, Gunnison or Delores River. Our river guides are skilled with SUP techniques such as ferries (crossing current), peel outs, eddy turns and how to run rapids. Based on your experience we have a little something for beginners and intermediate paddlers.

This class will include on land SUP demo to review basic paddling techniques. Once on the water we will go on a 5-10 min paddle to our yoga destination. Then, SUP yogis will take their yoga poses to a new level while floating and enjoying the elements around them. The core muscles will be challenged in a new way and body awareness will become paramount as natural alignment shift against the moving surface. The sensation of floating will help to alleviate stress while creating focus and motivation. Class is $23 for yogis needing equipment and $10 for yogis that bring their own equipment.
