Reservations & Cancellations

For the 3-day & 2-night Ruby Horsethief Colorado River and the 3-day & 2-night Women’s Ruby Horsethief Adventure and Wellness Retreat we require a $50 per person non-refundable down payment collected at the time booking the reservations. The balance of the trip fee is due 60 days prior to the trip departure date. We recommend all custom trips be booked 65+ days in Advance due to the commercial permitting processes.  Cancellations that are made at least 30 days prior to the trip departure date will receive a full refund minus a $50 per-person non-refundable down payment. Cancellations made 29-15 days before the trip’s original departure date will receive a trip credit good for one year minus your nonrefundable down payment. Cancellations made 15 days before the trip are non-refundable, please take out trip insurance to ensure any unforeseen events will be covered. For the Colorado River, Ruby Horsethief and our 1-Day Gunnison River, Escalante to Dominguez trips Grand Junction Adventures require a $25 per person non-refundable down payment collected at the time booking the reservations. There is a minimum of 4 to book this trip. The balance of the trip fee is due 14 days prior to the trip departure date. Cancellations that are made at least 7 days prior to the trip departure date will receive a full refund minus the $25 per-person non-refundable down payment. Cancellations made 3 days before the trip’s departure date will receive a trip credit good for one year minus the non-refundable down payment. Cancelations made 2 days before the trip are non-refundable, please take out trip insurance to ensure any unforeseen events that could occur.
