Everyone must have a current GJ Sup Waiver & Release of Liability Form on file to rent equipment. If the individual is under 18 years of age, the waiver must be signed by a parent or legal guardian. This waiver will be kept on file for one year.

Reservations & Cancellations

River Trips

Reservation and Cancellation Policy

We require a $100 per person deposit for confirmation. We recommend all custom trips be booked 65+ days in Advance due to the commercial permitting processes. The balance of the trip fee is due 60 days prior to the trip departure date. We recommend all groups take out trip insurance travelguard.com

  • Cancellations that are made at least 60 days prior to the trip departure date will receive a full refund minus a $50 service charge per person (minimum $300).
  • Cancellations made within 60-30 days of a trip’s original departure date will receive a trip credit good for 1 year minus your nonrefundable down payment.
  • There will be no credit or refund for trips canceled within 30 days of your trip, please take out trip insurance to ensure any unforeseen events will be covered.
  • At 60 days all charges are billed in full to credit card for final payment.

What's NOT Included

  • Guide Gratuities : By no means required but always appreciated by our guides. We recommend 15-20% of the cost of the river portion of the trip.
  • Transportation to Grand Junction Colorado, hotel pickup can be arranged for extra fees
  • Lodging and Meals prior to or following your expedition, check out our list of quality hotels and restaurants here in Grand Junction, Colorado
  • Trip Deposit: $100 per person deposit required upon reservation. Full balance due 60 days prior to departure.
  • Government user fees and taxes about 6% of trip Cost.
  • Trip Cancellation Insurance
  • Minimum Age the minimum age for ruby Horsethief is 2 years old
